RuhrBühnen*Spezial
7.3.2024The RuhrBühnen network presents the RuhrBühnen*Spezial, a new offer to visit the theatres and festivals in the Ruhr metropolis. Every month from April, you will have the chance to discover a different event at a reduced price.
Going to the theatre in a different city every month: the 13 theatres and festivals that have joined forces in the RuhrBühnen network present around 4,000 events a year, attracting over 800,000 people.
"From drama to dance, from musical theatre to performance – the RuhrBühnen*Spezial promises a range of cultural experiences that are as diverse as the region itself. Above all, we invite people to visit the theatres beyond their own city borders," say the spokespersons for the RuhrBühnen Vasco Boenisch, Artistic Director of Schauspielhaus Bochum, and Olaf Kröck, Director of Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen.
In August, the Ruhrtriennale invites you to visit a special event at a discounted price.
The RuhrBühnen*Spezial series kicks off in April at Schauspielhaus Bochum with Woyzeck. Johan Simons' award-winning production with Steven Scharf as the title character and Anna Drexler as Marie presents Georg Büchner's groundbreaking play fragment in an exciting new interpretation: heaven and hell in 27 scenes.
