Who we are

You are a fan of the Ruhrtriennale, love art and culture, like to go on discovery tours and are between 18 and 35 years old? Then Club.Ruhr is the right place for you! As the young Freundeskreis of the Ruhrtriennale, we experience the festival together every year – whether it's attending events together, exciting rehearsal visits or exclusive insights behind the scenes.

But we are not only up for activities during the festival period: we also meet up for special events outside of the Ruhrtriennale, go on excursions together and explore the diverse cultural landscape of the region.

Whether you are studying, working or training – if you are interested in culture in the Ruhr area and in meeting new people, you are welcome to join Club.Ruhr!

Together we visit selected events, take exclusive looks behind the scenes, experience free dress rehearsals and talk to artists and participants.

For members, the festival starts earlier: at the prologue you have the opportunity to attend the dress rehearsal of the Ruhrtriennale's opening premiere for free and celebrate the start of the Ruhrtriennale season with us!

At the annual members' meeting you get a first insight into the new Ruhrtriennale programme before the official release and get to know the artistic team personally.

Beyond the festival, there's more: with Club.Ruhr you can visit festivals, theatres, museums and other exciting cultural highlights in the Ruhr area. Here, too, you will gain exciting insights during talks with the people involved.

12. Jan 2025 – Vor aller Augen by Martina Clavadetscher at the Theater Duisburg with an exclusive talk with actress Friederike Becht

31. March 2025 – 20th general meeting of the Association of Friends and Supporters of the Ruhrtriennale with the programme presentation of the Ruhrtriennale 2025
