Additional events due to popular demand

Due to popular demand, the Ruhrtriennale is offering an additional performance of Ivo Van Hove's opening production I Want Absolute Beauty. The original eight performances with music by PJ Harvey and Sandra Hüller in the leading role were sold out within a short space of time. The additional performance with Sandra Hüller will be performed on August 29. Tickets are on sale now. 

Artistic Director Ivo Van Hove: "I am totally overwhelmed that people are so enthusiastic about our programme. And I'm really looking forward to the festival and to meeting the Ruhrtriennale audience on site and talking to people." 

The Ruhrtriennale audience can also look forward to an additional concert by Nils Frahm at Gießhalle Duisburg: On August 31, the pianist and composer will perform Music for Ruhr for a second time, in addition to his first concert on August 30, which is also already sold out.
