Travelling with ZEIT REISEN to the Ruhrtriennale 2024
7.5.2024Experience two highlights of this year's Ruhrtriennale programe with the world premiere of I Want Absolute Beauty and the new work by choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker from 30th August to 2nd September. Ruhrtriennale director Ivo Van Hove opens the Ruhrtriennale 2024 with the musical theatre I Want Absolute Beauty, with Sandra Hüller (Oscar nomination for Anatomy of a Fall) playing the lead role, singing songs by legendary singer-songwriter PJ Harvey are . The second highlight: Pump Into The Future Ball, an evening full of glitz and glamour, a colourful homage to the ballroom scene. Finally, Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker explores the power of questions, inspired by works of art from the Museum Folkwang collection in Essen, and creates a unique choreography at the interface of text and movement.
