You can buy tickets for the Ruhrtriennale directly in our ticket shop. The various seating categories and ticket prices are displayed there. When purchasing tickets online, you can choose between various options for how you would like to receive your ticket. Payment is possible online via PayPal, credit card or direct debit.

• print@home: Print your festival tickets in the comfort of your own. Bookings can be made up to two hours before the start of the event.
• print@home mobile: In addition to your pdf ticket, you will receive a barcode for admission to the event. If you use the ticket as a travel ticket or do not wish to take your smartphone with you to the event, the ticket must be printed out.
• Tickets by post: Receive your festival tickets by post to your preferred address. Bookings can be made up to four days before the event.

Tickets for Ruhrtriennale events are available at over 2.500 advance booking offices throughout Germany. Please enquire online about the availability and opening hours of your advance booking office www.eventim.de

The box offices at the performance venues open 75 minutes before the performance begins. Our ticket hotline will be happy to inform you in advance about available tickets on +49 (0) 221 280 210. You can pay cash, by debit card or with credit card at the box office.

Tickets for the Ruhrtriennale 2024 are valid on the day of the event in the entire Rhine-Ruhr transport network (VRR) on all buses and local trains (2nd class) for the outward and return journey to and from the venue. The tickets are valid on the day of the visit until 3 a.m. the following day. The tickets are not transferable.

Until 20 May 2024 inclusive, there is a discount of 15 % on ticket sales.

The following persons and groups also receive certain discounts on Ruhrtriennale tickets.

Come to Ruhrtriennale 2024 with your friends! With the Bring Your Friends promotion, you will receive up to three additional tickets with a 50% discount on each full-price ticket for selected performances. Experience an unforgettable festival evening together!

Experience your favorite artists at the Ruhrtriennale completely free of charge! Simply register for the KulturPass! Young people who celebrate or have already celebrated their 18th birthday in 2024 will receive a budget of €200 with the KulturPass from the German government, which can be redeemed for cultural offers. The RuhrBühnen, a network consisting of 11 stages and two festivals in the Ruhr metropolis, are inviting you to the RuhrBühnen*Spezial from April 2024. Every month, one stage will take centre stage and present one of its impressive performances at a particularly attractive price.  The RuhrBühnen*Spezial of the Ruhrtriennale 2024 is the music theatre installation Abendzauber.

Tickets at the RuhrBühnen*Special price of €15 can be booked for Saturday, 24th August 2024, at 3.00 p.m., 3.25 p.m., 3.50 p.m. and 4.15 p.m.
