Distorted pop samples, electronic hybrids & warming sounds - aua&angst mix sensitive DJ sets shifting between Ballroom and Breakbeats, empowering lyrics and femme attitudes. They have played at Dyke Night (Witten), Hyperreality-Festival (Vienna), transmediale (Berlin) as well as Fuchsbau-Festival (Hanover) and are part of the queer-feminist collective ‘soft spot’. In the past they organized and curated club nights at the Eve Bar, below the Schauspielhaus Bochum.
 

isocialbutterflyy (she/her) is artist, costume designer and dj, based in Vienna. In her work, she investigates on interdisciplinary and unknown images in sound, film and theatre from an afro-diasporic position. Metamorphosing into isocialbutterflyy, spherical surfaces get mixed with housy and breaking beats and influences from diverse genres, such as pop, jungle, rnb and trance.  

A shifting experience was 2017 the co-foundation of: POSSY, a collective which works around visibility of FLINTA* in extended club contexts.  Swirling up events and underlining them as political spaces, shifting dramaturges and connecting various people are her beloved tools.  In workshops and talks she shares knowledge and strategies of djing and organizing.  

Spaces like Golden Pudel Club, Frappant E.V. and Kraniche bei den Elbbrücken, shaped her understanding of a careful DIY style of club culture.  

YAYA is an collective of artists and cultural enthusiasts based in NRW, Germany. Our mission is to promote diversity and inclusivity within the arts, providing platforms for creative expression and empowerment. Through our collaborations with venues and festivals, we aim to amplify marginalized voices and give space to create meaningful connections within the cultural landscape. 

YAYA is a space where boundaries blur, where individuals of various backgrounds come vome together to celebrate music, dance, and self-expression. YAYA is a playground for creativity, it stands for the celebration of unique styles, for connecting and for sure for live laugh love <3 

Andras_2020, native of Salvador, Bahia, is a versatile artist and DJ active in the fields of performance, dance and electronic music. Their move to Germay in 2016, where they currently reside, marked a new phase in their artistic career. The release of the EP Cuerpo Temperamental in 2021 was a significant milestone in their career in electronic music and marked their arrival in the scene. The ongoing collaboration with visual artist Lukas Becker has resulted in innovative performances that integrate music and visual art, providing audiences with a unique artistic experience. The positive repercussions have led to the Cuerpo Tour throuh Europe in 2022. Recognised for their experimental approach as a DJ, Andras_2020 explores a wide range of rhythms, including guaracha, funk, pagode baiano, break and vogue beats, as well as avant-garde edits of pop and experimental music. Their artistic journey reflects a constant search for creative expression, bringing together diverse art forms in an impactful way and transcending cultural and geographical boundaries. 

Gîn Bali is a kurdish musician and producer. Her sounds are mainly influenced from her classical education as a guitarist, growing up with RnB, HipHop and Rock music and living in a world they might not really belong to. As a DJ Gîn always recreates their own reflection about her experiences and points of views in a set. Gîn seamlessly merges genres in her sets and productions. Her palette knows no bounds, encompassing Global Bass, South American Techno, Jungle, Moombahton, HipHop, Changa Tuki, Classical, Deconstructed Club, Grime, Industrial, and Kurdish Pop. Gîn is also the CEO of YAYA e.V. , a non profit organisation that curates their own events with the demand to create spaces that are from the community and for the community.  Besides all of this she is doing a lot of multidemensional projects that let her being formed by the worlds of classical music and club culture become one.  

seren.a is an electronic sound artist from Düsseldorf.  As co-founder and DJ of the all-female collective Get Over It, she pioneers the representation of queer women on stage and behind the decks in NRW.  Growing up in the early nineties, she was heavily influenced by the techno music that she heard on the radio. At the age of five she developed a passion for drumming. In her early teenage years she started playing electric guitar. currently she is studying sound engineering in düsseldorf and stopped playing the guitar after 20 years. She found a connection to her early childhood passion and switched to electronical music as her desire for tribal percussion and repetition grew heavier. She enjoys creating ambient soundscapes which is a very meditational process and helps her heal from wounds the heteronormative world left upon her.  Being a heavy hardware synth enthusiast she taught herself orchestrating her own soundscapes live and is composing compositions for dance, theatre and installations. Her mixes are generally a broader melange of different styles but mostly features flinta or queer artists and rave techno. 

SENU draws on the musical and cultural richness of the black Atlantic and is constantly falling in love with old and new sounds from Africa, America and the urban spaces of various diasporas. Embedded in the diversity of Berlin, SENU and their versatile sets are constantly evolving - no two sets are the same: heavy basslines and polyrhythmic arrangements between Afro Beats, Baile Funk, UK Funky, Gquom, Rap and every genre that enriches their eclectic sound. 

Singer, Producer and DJ slimgirl fat loves to blur genre conventions of all kinds. Not only in her own music but also on the decks. Her favorite tunes aim to have a special, vexing, and emotional momentum. Her sound collection reaches from contemporary Pop, Hip-Hop, UK Jungle & Hardcore to Dancehall and Reggaeton. "Disorienting, dystopian, delicious."

Bennet’s mixes merge the sounds of oldskool house, early progressive house and trance, as well as breaks and early rave hymns. However, across the board, they always return to the dancefloor’s utopian notions of togetherness, unity, and the political dimensions of the body. Bennet is also part of the Hannover-rooted DJ collective, soft spot. The group was founded in 2019 by queer and FLINTA people and seeks to support queer-feminist politics on and off the dance floor. 

Born and raised in China until 2002, Coco Cobra (she /her) is a German-based DJ that’s rapidly made a name for herself in the post-pandemic landscapes of modern-day clubbing. Predominately exposed to mainstream, Chinese pop ballads in her youth, the artist’s musical journey took a turn upon moving to Hanover where her newfound surroundings lead to the discovery of an entirely new spectrum of music.  

With a vast intake of punk rock, heavy synth and electro revelations ultimately leading to a love for the UK rave, jungle, heavy breaks, and explosive, high energy sounds of her sets today - Coco Cobra now yields a killer taste in radical club music.  

Seeing her own talents as a producer surface, most notably, on the Queens of Club: Astral Booty compilation in 2020 - Coco Cobra has since gone on to establish herself as a DJ critical to local scenes and international lineups, featuring in Herrensauna and International Chrome showcases, to Finest Fridays at Panorama Bar in Berlin.  

As a co-founder of soft spot - a queer-centered collective based out of Hanover - Coco Cobra is motivated by a desire to push boundaries, create safer spaces and reshape local dancefloors. A testament to the transformative power of music, collective action and the growth of diverse and inclusive platforms.
